Today we drove drove to Swellendam to look at a piece of property that the Catholic Church is looking to get rid of. It would make a great community centre for economic empowerment and social development. It is a lovely sunny day!
we are looking at a place to host a neomonoastic/missional community. wondering if this would work for us, or maybe some sort of partnership. what do you think?
The setting, and the little town, are ideal. However, the farm buildings need a truck load of work. The price of the farm is very good (considering where it is and what one gets)...
As for partnership, I know that the local community would love to partner with any interested party. They're particularly keen to see some poverty alleviation and skills development projects take place.

Hi Arthur,
